RESEARCH COENZYME

NAD+

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) has its own category because it is not a peptide. It is a coenzyme present in every living cell, built from two nucleotides joined by phosphate groups.

About this category

A cornerstone of biochemistry research. NAD+ cycles between its oxidized form (NAD+) and reduced form (NADH) as it carries electrons in cellular redox reactions. It is also consumed as a substrate by enzyme families such as sirtuins and PARPs. That breadth makes it one of the most widely studied molecules in cell biology, from enzymology to cell-culture and animal-model work.

One format: 1000mg. A&A Wellness supplies NAD+ 1000mg in a sealed vial with consistent labeling. The product page lists specifications and storage conventions.

Handle with care. NAD+ is conventionally treated as a light- and moisture-sensitive material. Store it cold, dry and protected from light.

For background and references, read NAD+: Research Overview. Researchers interested in mitochondrial biology may also explore MOTS-c and SS-31.

NAD+ is sold for laboratory research use only. It is not a drug or dietary supplement and is not for human or veterinary use.

FAQ

NAD+ questions

NAD+ is a dinucleotide coenzyme, not a peptide. Keeping it separate makes the catalog easier to navigate.

NAD+ is offered in a single 1000mg vial.

Store the sealed vial cold, dry and protected from light. Prepared solutions are conventionally refrigerated and protected from light.
